Get Involved

There are many ways you can serve Renegade students. Talk with your home group leader about what might be a good fit, not just for you, but for your entire home group.

Summer Day Camps

Each summer Renegade offers two week-long day camps for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Both camps feature Bible studies, a healthy meal, and enrichment activities. SpArt Camp engages students in sports and art. Kids who attend Music Camp learn how to play an instrument. Both camps are a blast and help us reach younger students who we hope will start attending our elementary Bible studies.

Roles

  • Drivers – Drivers bring students to and from camp each day.
  • Food providers – These volunteers prepare a morning snack and lunch for campers.
  • Leaders – These volunteers provide supervision and guidance for students during camp.

Providing meals

Renegade provides a nutritious meal for low-income students who attend our Bible studies. You and your home church can team up to provide a meal each month or every other month!

Roles

  • Team leader – Team leaders mobilize people in their home church to work together to provide a meal for students. Renegade’s food coordinator will help each home church determine how much food is needed.
  • Delivery – These individuals deliver the meal to the correct Renegade location.
  • Prayer support – This person brings prayer requests for the Renegade Bible study their group supports to the home group prayer meeting and reports on answers to prayer. If your home group does not have a regular prayer meeting, this person would gather people to pray for Renegade on a regular basis.

Time commitment

  • Meal provider team leader – Five hours per month or 5 hours every other month.
  • Delivery – 2 hours per month or 2 hours every other month.
  • Prayer support – 1 hour per month.
