Dr. Larry Crabb
Dr. Larry Crabb is a well-known psychologist, conference and seminar speaker, Bible teacher, popular author, and founder/director of NewWay Ministries. He currently is Scholar in Residence at Colorado Christian University in Colorado and serves as Spiritual Director for the American Association of Christian Counselors. Dr. Crabb has authored many books including; Understanding People, The Marriage Builder, Finding God, Connecting, The Safest Place on Earth, The Pressure's Off, Shattered Dreams, and Soul Talk. Dr. Crabb and his wife, Rachael, live in the Denver, Colorado area.
Ajith Fernando serves as Teaching Director of Youth for Christ (YFC) in Sri Lanka after being National Director for 35 years. These days his main responsibilities are mentoring leaders and teaching staff and volunteers. With his wife Nelun he is active in a Methodist Church just outside Colombo, most of whose members are recent believers. He ministers to Christian workers and others through a counselling and a Bible teaching ministry in Sri Lanka and abroad. He has written 15 books and his books have been published in 19 different languages. Ajith serves on the translation team of a New Sinhala Bible done by Biblica. Ajith and Nelun have a son Asiri and daughter Nirmali, both of whom, along with their spouses, serve in YFC.
Clive Calver is an author, speaker and senior pastor of Walnut Hill Community Church, a network of five campuses in South Eastern Connecticut. Previously, Calver has served as president of World Relief and director of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK. He has a heart for reaching out to the indigenous churches around the world and helping them support the poorest of the poor through the love of Jesus. He’s written over a dozen books, including Alive in the Spirit and most recently, Dying to Live. He and his wife, Ruth, have four grown children and four grandchildren.
Dennis McCallum is a lead pastor and director of the Xenos campus ministry. A graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary, Dennis has authored several books, including Discovering God, Walking in Victory, Members of One Another, and co-authored Organic Discipleship. Dennis and his wife, Holly, have three children.
Gary DeLashmutt is a lead pastor at Xenos Christian Fellowship. A graduate of Ashland Theological Seminary, Gary is the author of Loving God’s Way and co-author of Spiritual Relationships That Last. Gary and his wife, Bev, also lead a Bible study for post-college singles near OSU. They have two daughters.
Jim Leffel is an elder, senior sphere leader and teacher of our Sunday night Central Teaching. Jim publishes essays on Christianity and contemporary culture, and speaks at university, missionary and church groups. He earned degrees in philosophy at the Ohio State University and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Before assuming his current responsibilities at Xenos, Jim taught philosophy at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Columbus State Community College and Ohio Dominican University. He and his wife, Linda, lead a home group and have two children.
