Register Your Child Now for TNT Camp

Registration is now open for TNT Camp, Dwell’s summer camp for kids in 4th and 5th grade, June 21st-25th. The camp offers a week of fun, engaging activities along with great teachings, and the chance to go deeper with meaningful discussion groups.

TNT Director Amy Cooksey says she expects kids will especially welcome the fun week together this summer. “After a long year of COVID we hope camp can bring out some fun, laughter, and time together that all have really missed.”

With COVID safety in mind, the camp’s sessions will be shorter--9:00 am-noon--and most activities will be outside. But Amy says the camp’s purpose is unchanged: “Our vision is that camp shows kids that God's word is engaging and relevant to our lives, and that following Him is SO fun! In years past, it's been awesome to watch kids ask deep questions in small groups and get excited to memorize scripture.”

Amy says the camp provides a nice transition for kids of this age. She says they need something more challenging and mature than VBS, but aren't quite ready for middle-school content and activities.

She says the week together allows them to take material and the discussion farther than they are able to in weekly TNT meetings. “We've found that kids will settle in during the week in a way that they just aren't able to at an hour-long CT. Discussion groups can prove to be a place of real spiritual discussion, especially towards the end of the week.”

They also plan a lot of fun activities. “Last year, we did tie dye, human foosball, scavenger hunt on the trail, and more!”

Amy asks you to pray for the camp’s success--that kids would engage with the material, and leave with a better understanding of the purpose and joy God has for their lives. You can learn more about the week and register your child at www.xenos.org/oasis/tnt-camp.
