"I was most impressed by the passion for Scripture that I saw among the young people that attended Xenos. This gives me hope that we will see a new generation who take God and his Word seriously and learn how to communicate the Christian message credibly to their world."
“Xenos is a highly unusual megachurch… the atmosphere is ultra-casual. Well over 3,000 people attended the [Summer Institute], making it the largest I've ever attended. People were so enthusiastic, and it was a privilege to be involved in their training.”
I first came to Xenos 40 years ago as a young college student. Scholarly yet relevant Bible instruction - then and now - provides critical grounding as we navigate an increasingly complex world. It's also been delightful to see God grow us from a small group of college students to a multi-generational community that generously loves people both nearby and across the world!
When I joined a Xenos home church 17 years ago, I formed deep and lasting relationships that transformed my marriage, my family life, my perspective on work and God’s role in my daily life. Yes, Xenos is definitely a place where you can get to know God through great teachings, but you also get to grow in God through the people you get to know in home church (small group Bible study).
Xenos has changed my life because I have been able to go to a church where I regularly hear the Bible taught in a way that applies to my life and experience God’s love through close community.
I have been involved with Xenos since 1973. Xenos' dedication to teaching Biblical truths helped me stay spiritually alive and grow through the challenges of different life stages And the home groups (small group Bible studies) have provided me numerous opportunities to have a significant spiritual impact even though I don't work for the church!
