The 2003 conference continued our recent emphasis on Home Group ministry. This year's theme was“Growing Home Groups Through Discipleship.” Dr. Howard Hendricks of Dallas Theological Seminary and Dr. Gene Getz of Fellowship Bible Church will be our plenary session speakers, along with Xenos' Dennis McCallum, Gary DeLashmutt, and Jim Leffel. Once again there was a large selection of practical workshops on home group ministry with and emphasis on the critical work of raising up new workers and leaders through discipleship.

Howard Hendricks

Dr. Hendricks is Chairman of the Center for Christian Leadership and Distinguished Professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. For 51 years he has touched the lives of thousands of students at DTS. Dr Hendricks is also a visionary leader serving on the boards of Search Ministries, Walk Thru the Bible, Ronald Blue & Co. and was a board member and speaker for Promise Keepers. He has written or co-written numerous books including As Iron Sharpens Iron, Living by the Book, and his newest release, Coloring Outside the Lines, a book on creativity.

Gene Getz

Dr. Gene Getz is a senior pastor at Fellowship Bible Church North in Plano, Texas and director of the Center for Church Renewal in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Getz is also an adjunct professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has written 30 books, including The Measure of A Man and Partners for Life. He lives with his wife Elaine in Dallas.
