2002 Xenos Summer Institute
Developing Servant Leaders in your Home Groups
This year we focused on issues facing home group leaders and churches developing leaders. Growing home groups need a steady supply of growing leaders. Whether you're a pastor, a home group leader or an aspiring leader, the 3 plenary speakers and 20 breakout topics will have something to help you with your ministry.
This year's general session speakers include Lance Witt of Saddleback Church; Bill Lawrence, author of Effective Pastoring; Bruce Powers, author of Christian Leadership; and Xenos co-founder Dennis McCallum. Workshops will feature Mark Ashton of Willow Creek Community Church; Neil Cole, author of "Cultivating a Life for God;" and many more inspiring speakers.
Jesus tells us leadership in the Church should be different than in the world.
The Christian leader is to be a servant of all. How do we know who God is choosing to be leaders? How can we help them develop the skills they need? How can we become better leaders?
No home group ministry can flourish without experienced, trained, godly leaderslots of them. Come spend three days exploring this critical area of home group ministry.
