
5420 Academic Content Standards (ACS)
5421 Description of an ACS
5421.1
ACSs will be derived from selected grade level subject objectives in current revisions of the XCS Course of Study.
5421.2
ACSs will be written on three levels for each critical objective: fact/skill area, conceptual level, and problem-solving level.
5422 Determination of ACS
5422.1
The ACS review committee will select which specific grade level subject objectives from current revisions of the XCS Course of Study will be grouped to form critical objectives for the ACS programs.
5422.2
The ACS review committee will write at least three academic content standards for each critical objective.
5422.3
The grade level ACSs will be printed in the ACS Program Manual available in the school office.
