4121 Reporting Hazards

4121.1
If employees have any questions as to the safety of any activity or piece of equipment, they are to immediately stop the activity or place the equipment in question “off limits” and notify the custodian and administrator by note.

4121.2
Employees should report other hazards such as holes, worn equipment, foreign objects, etc. by a note to the administrator and custodian.

4122 Building Maintenance

4122.1
The school is inspected at least once a year by fire and health department officials. Records are kept on file in the office.

4122.2
The custodian has the responsibility to maintain the school in a safe and healthy condition.

4122.3
The administrator or his/her delegate will be responsible to ensure that facilities utilized for school activities comply with local, state, and federal safety standards including but not limited to AHERA.
