Christ warned that hypocrisy was the leaven of the Pharisees. Whenever we put ourselves under law we are forced to become hypocrites just like the Pharisees. Genuine openness and living in the light, is what it takes for the body of Christ to have a legitimate witness, and an enjoyable relationship with Christ.
