Man is continually erecting barriers to the simplicity of Christ's Gospel. We add forms, rules, and stipulations to God's message, thus misrepresenting his desire to draw near to us in un-conditional love. Even the earliest Christians were tempted to impose their own cultural baggage on the people they preached to, but God's message would not be stopped, or changed.
