 "You
will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the
ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8). Throughout the book of Acts we
see this command of Christ carried outfirst through the Apostles,
then the early Jewish converts, and finally through Paul and his disciples.
Acts describes the spread of the Gospel, starting from Jerusalem,
and going to Samaria and throughout the entire Roman empire. And while
the Gospel and its messengers face many obstacles on its route, nothing
is able to hinder the message because of the One who empowers it. The
story of Acts is not a story of individuals, but a story of an individual
message carried out by many people depending on the power of God.
