Hey, thanks for stopping by.
I was a snotty-nosed kid when I became a Christian in
1969 through my sister sharing a booklet with me called The Four Spiritual
Laws (put out by Campus Crusade for Christ.) A half dozen years I wandered
around looking for fellowship until I found Xenos as a high school student
and seized the opportunity to really learn and grow here. Then in 1979,
I moved into a what we call a "ministry
house" with some other Christian guys in Xenos, and started co-leading
a home group of my own.
I've been working full time at
Xenos since 1991, and I'm currently Support Services division coordinator
overseeing external relations,
communications,
evangelism impact ministries, counseling,
and Servant Team administration.
I have a B.A. in Applied Communication, and have completed biblical course
work from Southwestern Assemblies of God College, both of which come in
real handy in doing my job. Part of my work with Xenos is also to oversee
numerous home churches as a Sphere Leader. I've been leading my own home
churches in Xenos since the early '80s with my darlin' wife, Renee.
She and I have two sons (Josh and
John), and for fun we get into soccer and the great outdoors. I'm a classically
trained musician, and play and record in an Irish band called The
Yankee Celtic Consort.
