CareGroup Serves Parents and Their Friends
By Sherri Fojas, Support Services Division Administrator
CARE group is a free monthly get together for moms and dads, featuring excellent talks on parenting. You can ask questions, share your concerns, get recommendations on parenting books and network with other parents.
CARE group meets the first Wednesday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Main Campus Café. We serve refreshments and provide childcare for a small fee.
Upcoming Care Group Topics:
May 7: How to be Sane as You Head into Summer, Connie Rue

Connecting Playgroups and CareGroup
God also has used CareGroups to help parents who don't know God to have a category for parenting with biblical principles.
One Muslim woman who attends a playgroup, says, "I wouldn't miss going to them. The speakers are so good and they are speaking as moms, not as if they are professors. I hear real-life situations that apply to my life. I am so grateful to be invited."
Another woman from a former playgroup, began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ at CareGroup in January! Please continue to consider this valuable tool when thinking about how to reach your friends in playgroup.
