Xenos Free Clinic Still Needs Seven Doctors
By Tony Khoury
Xenos Christian Fellowship in cooperation with Central Ohio Youth for Christ, has opened a free medical clinic on the near west side in the old Chicago Ave. school at 40 N Chicago Ave.
Volunteers Still Needed!
We still need seven more doctors, in addition to other medical and non-medical volunteers, who staff the clinic every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The time commitment is one three-to-four-hour shift per month for each volunteer.
Medical staff: doctors (7 still needed), nurses, ophthalmologists, optometrists and pharmacists.
Non-medical staff: registration, prayer team, nightly coordinator, referral specialists.
Contact Tony Khoury at tkhoury@glasscity.net or 921-9009 to answer any questions.
As an expression of the love of Jesus Christ, the clinic will provide:
-
basic health-care services to the working poor and homeless;
-
basic ophthalmology/optometry services;
-
referrals to other agencies for specialized or long-term medical care;
-
opportunities for spiritual growth.
