Class Highlight: Missions Mobilization I
By
Holly McCallum, Xenos
director of Missions Mobilization
God
desires for all people to hear the good news of the gospel. He has given
the incredible privilege of carrying out His Great Commission to the church.
"The
missions class was informative. I had heard information on missions
before but didn't realize the scope until taking the class."

Myths
and misconceptions about missions abound in the minds of many Christians.
We need to ask, "How can we challenge our thinking about missions?"
One
of the best ways to answer this question is just around the corner-the
five-week Missions Mobilization I class (starting February 21). We'll
examine who the unreached people groups are, where they live, and what
Xenos is doing to meet their needs.
|
"This
class gives the "big picture" of God's burden for missions. You
see how God has always wanted the world to know who He is."

This
course will expand your understanding of God, challenge your world view
and inspire you to find your role in the Great Commission-by either going
or sending.
Guest speakers will talk about important topics like "Understanding Islam"
and Xenos missionaries will share about their experiences around the world.
"The
missions class opened my eyes to the state of the world, opened
my heart to missions, and gave me a desire to read and learn more."
