Proposing New Fields

For those who want to open a new field other than Xenos Christian Fellowship priority fields:

Our priority is to fortify our existing fields. We are open to considering new fields, however we need a persuasive argument about why we should make an exception at this time. Here are the questions that need to be answered:

Agency
Is it a credible organization? Do we have a compatible POEM (Philosophy of Effective Ministry)?

Ministry in Field
Is it legitimate? Is it a real need? Is it well run? Will you have a well defined role?

Role
Are you qualified for this role? Have you demonstrated the ability to minister in this area?Do you have the gifts, burden and experience that make you a good fit with this role?

Do others agree with this direction?
Home Group leader, mentor, etc. Other considerations: Are you on the Servant Team? Have you replaced yourself in ministry positions here? See grid for character and spiritual maturity qualifications
