The Eastern Europe Team
Since the fall of Communism, spirituality has been on the rise in Eastern Europe. People are seeking something to believe in and are open to all kinds of spiritual influences, good or bad. This openness, and Eastern Europe’s unpredictable political future have evoked a deep sense of urgency in the members of the Eastern Europe Team.
Two families from Xenos Christian Fellowship are living and working in Eastern Europe as church planters. The language is difficult and the living conditions are challenging, and yet these families are committed to bringing the gospel and love of Christ to the region.
Mark & Laura, and Fritz & Marianne, work with university students. Through training, discipleship and modeling the team works to help the students understand the love of Christ and equip them for leadership in His church. Their prayer is to see a national-led church planting movement in Eastern Europe. However, for a movement to develop, the team needs the help of Christians from our part of the world.
If you are burdened to part of God's work in Eastern Europe, there are several ways you can help:
-
Prayer partners - Prayer is the most important aspect of any church planting effort. Without it, we labor in vain. CONTACT INFORMATION
-
Financial Partners - Consider supporting one or more of our church planters. Each family depends on monthly support from financial partners. This is an excellent way to particpate in the work God is accomplishing in Cambodia. CONTACT INFORMATION
-
Advocacy Team - This team seeks to educate, increase awareness, and communicate what God is doing in Cambodia with the local church. CONTACT INFORMATION
-
Home Support Team - Assists with the administrative and logitstical needs of the church planters. CONTACT INFORMATION
