Definition and Requirements for Servant Squad

The Servant Squad is a group of 7th and 8th grade Blow Out, Spam and JAM students who have been nominated to the group. In order to be nominated the students must meet the Servant Squad criteria. This group is designed to give students opportunities to serve the Jr. High group as a whole and their community. Here are the requirements of Servant Squad:

A student must :

  1. Be a 7th or 8th grader

  2. Be a regular attendee of Cell group and Blow Out, Spam or JAM

  3. Successfully complete a Christian Growth class offered by the Jr. High ministry during the 12 months prior to being nominated

  4. Be involved in “real” ministry (personal outreach and active cell contribution)

  5. Be of high moral character

  6. Be involved in an growing relationship with God

If you have any students who fulfill these requirements and would be a good addition to the Servant Squad :

  1. Fill out the following adult assessment and this student will be considered for acceptance by the Selection Team. Please don’t tell the student about the nomination until we get back to you.

  2. You will be contacted by us about the student and whether we want to move forward with the nomination. We will send you a questionnaire for the student to fill out. At this point, you may notify the student about your nomination of him/her.

  3. The nomination process will end when the student returns his or her assessment.
