Say Cheese!
Photo Scavenger Hunt Rules:
- Split into 2 teams.
- You must find as many of the following items as you can. We’ll meet at ______________ (location) at ______________ (time) to eat lots of junk food and judge the results. Geezers will judge.
- You must show respect for the people you interact with. Before you snap a photo of someone, you have to ask for and get their permission! For example:
“We’re part of a youth group and we’re participating in a Photo scavenger hunt. Do you mind if we take a picture with you?”
- Any photo that meets the requirements is legitimate, but “creativity” and bonus points will be awarded. The winning team will receive “fabulous prizes!”
- No dangerous photos or activities. Geezers have final say on defining “danger.”
- Ridiculous photos are encouraged.
- Each team member has to be in at least one picture.
- No double dipping (For example, 7 and 8 must be different signs; 4 and 5 have to be different vehicles).
Take a picture of…
- A member of your team with a red-haired person. Bonus point for clearly visible freckles. Double bonus if the red-haired person is a girl.
- A member of your team wearing a retail uniform (or part of one—i.e., a vest or hat). Could be fast-food, or any other store. Bonus point for most “unique” uniform.
- A member of your team with a non-domesticated animal (see note on danger, above…). Bonus point for most interesting animal. Penalty points if person in picture smells like an animal.
- A member of your team in an emergency services vehicle (i.e., police car, fire engine… have to have permission!)
- All of your team members sitting in or on a vehicle other than a car. (note: vehicle must be stationary; must obtain the permission of the owner) Creativity point for “most interesting” vehicle.
- All of your team members riding on an escalator.
- A member of your team standing in front of a sign with the word “good” in it.
- A member of your team standing in front of a sign with the word “sale” in it. Bonus point for the highest % savings (i.e., 75% off!).
- A member of your team standing on a pile of something. Bonus point awarded for the biggest pile. Additional bonus point awarded for “most interesting” pile.
