July 6th at Blowout

Correcting an oversight, Jordan and Chris came back to
Blow Out and awarded Joe Botti a Jesus Bobblehead and publicly
thanked him for his effort over the last three years in their
cell group and 14 years at Blow Out.

Before the teaching

there are various games going on. 12 on 12 Basketball, soccer,
boardgames and crafts in the art room, skateboarding and students
just hanging out.

"The
first person to show me a quarter, a dime, and a nickel will earn
points for their team."
The 6th, 7th and 8th graders squared off in a hotly
contested battle. Trav awarded points for cartwheels, traveled to
Alaska, two members with the same birthday, the same first and last
initial, wearing something that says 'Ohio," recite the alphabet
backwards (from Z to A,) two students with the same first name,
and more.
Although no one had
a name that rhymed, the 8th graders smoked the copmpetition.

Dodgeball: One moment you're attacking,
and the next you're dodging.

Mary finished up our series on what
God is like with a teaching on "God is giving." After
considering what God has given us, she challenged us to give to
the people that God has put in our lives.
Also,
Joe announced that 6th grade cells start this month.
