Serving the Food Bank

Divide your group into carloads. Each carload of students starts with a given sum of money. They go to a grocery store and buy as much nonperishable food as they can. Afterwards see which group did the best job and got the most food for their money.

We even had some girls adding in their own money to buy more food. Either the leaders could supply the money, students or both. Then at a later time one of the leaders could take a student along to drop the food off at the local Food Bank.

In Columbus, you can get specific information from the Mid Ohio Food Bank.
