Urban Concern
Urban Concern has been working with individuals in the inner city for more than 16 years to break the cycle of poverty and hopelessness. A key component in seeing this vision realized is working with the children, the future leaders of the South Linden community.
HCS plays a critical role by providing quality, Christ-centered education. Students at Harambee consistently achieve above the national average on standardized tests, whereas students enrolled in area public schools typically score below the 25th percentile on the same test.
