Central Ohio Youth for Christ
Youth for Christ is an evangelical ministry that has been serving youth and families in central Ohio since 1981. A significant portion of YFC ministry is dedicated to working with at-risk teens from both community ministry in urban neighborhoods and institutional work in juvenile detention centers. Currently over 2,000 at-risk young people are involved annually in YFC ministry.
Program initiatives include evangelistic meetings and Bible Studies, educational initiatives and tutoring, job skills training career coaching and discipleship/mentoring. WellSpring (a family counseling ministry of YFC) also provides over $250k of counseling scholarships annually for families in financial need.
The long term goal for these ministries is to raise lifelong followers of Jesus Christ from at-risk communities who in turn become servants and leaders within these communities.
