Requirements for Home
Group Leaders
Here's
a dilemma: If leadership requirements are too stringent, then few
are interested in leading. But if requirements are too lax,
leaders often fail when their groups eventually become unhealthy,
causing unnecessary ill will and discouragement.
We have settled
on the following requirements for home group leaders in Xenos:

Our
small group leaders are considered deacons. You can read how
we understand the requirements for deacons in the Qualifications
for Deacons Paper. |

We
expect all our leaders to belong to the Xenos
Servant Team. |
|
Our
Servant Covenant is an agreement
between all leadership at Xenos and God. It covers basic standards
we expect in the lives of home group leaders. |
