The reason Xenos takes no political position is not because we have no opinion. The Bible speaks to human sexuality with unambiguous clarity. However, our concern is with believing Christians who share common ground under the authority of scripture. This does not mean that opposition to homosexual practices is simply a religious position—there exists substantial scientific, psychological, and sociological reasons to reject homosexuality as a life-style. But in a society that has virtually no basis for sexual ethics of any kind, we believe we should address the issue individually, as gays and lesbians find new life in Jesus Christ and a place in the Christian community.
