Servanthood

Servanthood in Xenos Fellowship

Grading Policy

To pass Servanthood 1 & 2, you must:

  • Score at least 70% on the final exam.
  • Attend a minimum of 8 out of 10 classes.
  • Accumulate at least 70 total points from homework, quizzes, and the final exam (see below).

Grading

  • The Final Exam accounts for 50% of the final grade
  • Homework and quizzes account for 30% of the final grade
  • Attendance accounts for 20% of the final grade

Policies

Final Exam

  • The final exam will include memory verses questions, true/false or multiple choice, short essay, and definition of terms.
  • You must score 70% or better to pass  Servanthood 1 & 2.
  • You must take the exam on the exam day or earlier. If you know you cannot make the exam date, you must make prior arrangements with your instructor to take the exam early.
  • If you have an unforeseen emergency (e.g., sickness; unscheduled business trip), you must arrange with your instructor to take the exam as soon as possible.
  • If you fail the exam, you will be notified by mail. You may take a make-up exam at the study center within one week of receiving notification of the failed exam. If you missed the exam day simply because you did not study, you will not be permitted to take the make-up exam.

Quizzes

  • Questions will ask you to apply memory passages in response to questions about practical issues.
  • 3 quizzes will be given, covering the content through the previous week’s material.
  • If you miss a quiz, you may take the quiz the following week before class or at the break. Your lowest quiz grade will not be thrown out.

Attendance

  • You must attend a minimum 8 out of 10 classes (unless otherwise arranged with the instructor) in order to pass this course.

Assignments

  • Assignments must be handed in on time!  For the most part, assignments will involve reading books or short articles.  Except for unforeseen emergencies, instructors will not accept late assignments.
