Damon, William. The Moral Child

Campbell, Ross M.D. How to Really Love Your Child & How to Really Love Your Teenager.

This is a great starter book for parenting and easy to apply. Campbell doesn’t believe in original sin which is reflected in his writing. How to Really Love Your Teenager has an excellent chapter on anger.

Chapman, Gary. The Five Love Languages of Children & The Five Love Languages of Teenagers.

Smith, Tim. The Relaxed Parent

Huggins, Kevin. Parenting Adolescents

This book contains excellent parenting principles. Some of his exegesis of the Bible is questionable.

SECULAR, SEX SPECIFIC RESEARCH WITH EXCELLENT CULTURAL INSIGHT

Pipher, Mary. Reviving Ophelia.

This book can be depressing but is very insightful for raising girls.

Kindlon, Dan. Raising Cain

This book is insightful for raising boys.

The information in this book is excellent but it is a more scholarly read.

Fleming, Jean. A Mother’s Heart & Finding Focus In a Whirlwind World

A Mother’s Heart helps mothers with having a vision for their families and Finding Focus in a Whirlwind World helps with prioritizing.

Hendricks, Jeanne. A Mother’s Legacy Bible Study

This book is a good study for a women’s Bible study group or personal study time.

Tobias, Cynthia Ulrich. You Can't Make Me : But I Can Be Persuaded.

This book contains a lot of good information. Be careful not to label your child.

Ezzo, Gary. On Becoming Preteen Wise.

Kuykendall, Carol. Learning to Let Go

This is a good book for fearful or controlling parents.

McPherson, Miles. Parenting the Wild Child

This book is good for parents of rebellious children.

Murray, Andrew. How to Bring Your Children to Christ

This book has some good principles but it is culturally outdated.

Sanders, Vollie. Train Up A Mom

This book discusses different issues a mother goes through. This is a good personal study book for a mother.

Smalley, Gary The Key To Your Child’s Heart Word Publishing, 1984.

This book will help you to evaluate your communication impact with your children.

Swindoll, Charles R. You and Your Child

This book focuses on the dynamics of the parent and child relationship.
