B. Outline the text by identifying the main point:

  • repeated words/ concepts given focus
  • "punch lines" using figures of speech
  • narrative context, summary, intro
  • connective words
Narrative

Hints:

  • "fulfillment" statements
  • contextual clues: summary statements
  • "punch lines" using figures of speech
  • broader narrative theme

C. Add supporting points to outline:
