We can always respond to sharing more than one way. Part of developing the skill of discussion leading is to be creative about different ways to respond. Respond to each of the following in three different ways, suitable to different situations, and be ready to explain your possible strategy for each.

You are teaching a small home church using directed discussion. Your topic comes from a study of I Cor. 9:19-27 from which you are teaching on "Goals and Grace"

A fairly new person says-I don’t think setting goals is trusting God…Shouldn’t we let the spirit lead and see what happens?
