Dennis McCallum
Dennis is founder and lead pastor of Xenos Christian Fellowship in Columbus, Ohio. Xenos is a non-traditional church that has grown out of the Bible study Dennis and his brother started in their rooming house at Ohio State University in 1970. The group now has a weekly attendance of 5,000. He also leads Xenos' college ministry at The Ohio State University.

Dennis' educational background includes a B.A. in history from The Ohio State University (1974), and an M.A. from Ashland Seminary in Ashland, Ohio (1986).

Dennis is author of several books including:

Christianity, The Faith That Makes Sense, (Tyndale House, 1992, 1995)

The Summons (Navpress, 1993)

Walking in Victory, (Navpress, 1994, Xenos 2002)

Dennis married his wife, Holly, in 1973. Their three children: Jessica, 28; Joe, 25; and Bret, 22 all lead house churches at Xenos.


Jessica is Dennis' daughter, and she and her husband, Ryan, are leaders in Xenos' campus ministry. Jessica has become the leading female disciple maker in the large University ministry she helps lead. She teaches the popular Creative Disciplemaking class for Xenos leaders.

She has been married to Ryan for six years, and has two children, Logan (4) and Alexis (2).

This is her first book.
