Resources for Seniors

Do you need help with referrals for in-home personal care or nursing home care services? Would you like to talk to a friendly person about the sometimes confusing social services for seniors?

Xenos Resources for Seniors, part of the Finishing Well Ministry, is here for you. Call our Help Line at 823-6500 x 711. A knowledgeable and experienced social services volunteer will call you back in two or three days.

CareGroup Serves Parents and Their Friends

CARE group is a free monthly get together for moms and dads, featuring excellent talks on parenting. You can ask questions, share your concerns, get recommendations on parenting books and network with other parents.

CARE group meets the first Wednesday of each month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Main Campus Café. We serve refreshments and provide childcare for a small fee.

Short-Term Mission Trip Going to Cambodia

So, you're interested in going on a short term mission trip! We are offering one trip in 2008 to Cambodia, tentatively scheduled for August 8-23. Monday, February 4, is the deadline for sending in your applications and reference forms for the Cambodia trip.

Xenos Free Clinic Still Needs Seven Doctors

Xenos Christian Fellowship in cooperation with Central Ohio Youth for Christ, has opened a free medical clinic on the near west side in the old Chicago Ave. school at 40 N Chicago Ave.

Volunteers Still Needed!

We still need seven more doctors, in addition to other medical and non-medical volunteers, who staff the clinic every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The time commitment is one three-to-four-hour shift per month for each volunteer.

About 250,000 are from China, and the rest are mostly from Southeast Asia (with 75,000 from Vietnam). One in four Taiwan marriages involves a foreign partner, while one in seven newborns is the product of a mixed marriage.
