6231 Teacher and Staff Aides

6231.1
Aides work under the immediate supervision of the administrative assistant. The administrative assistant is responsible to instruct the aide in applicable school policies and procedures.

6231.2
Aides assist the teacher in administrative or supervisory tasks, such as typing, preparing handouts and classroom materials, correcting papers, recording grades, assisting during group instruction, supervising small groups, and helping individual students.

6231.3
Aides are to maintain appropriate behaviors and dress.

Attendance must be punctual and dependable.
