3130 Professional Qualifications

3131 Educational Requirements

3131.1
Certificated employees shall have a minimum of a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized college or university.

3131.2
Classified staff shall have at least a high school diploma or appropriate work experience.

3131.3
All staff shall have had (or be willing to pursue) courses specifically prescribed by the Local Professional Development Committee Board in an area deemed necessary for the performance of their job responsibilities.

3132 Certification

3132.1
Teachers shall be professionally prepared as a teacher, certificated by the State of Ohio, and demonstrate teaching ability.

3132.2
Preschool teachers shall meet requirements specified by the Ohio Department of Education Early Childhood Division.

3132.3
Copies of certificates shall be on file at the Calumet Christian School office.

3133 Specific Job Requirements

3133.1
Each position shall have a written job description stating responsibilities to be assigned to the employee.

3133.2
Staff shall have experience in or demonstrate ability to perform required responsibilities.
