3120 Personal Qualifications

3121 Mature Christians

3121.1
All employees at the Xenos Christian School shall strive to adhere to the Biblical principles and demonstrate a lifestyle dedicated to Christian ministry.

3121.2
All full-time administrative heads shall be active participants in Xenos Christian Fellowship.

3121.3
XCS believes that the Bible teaches that parents have the primary responsibility of raising children; therefore, before hiring for any positions of 20 hours or more a week, applicants who are parents of children age three or younger must demonstrate that either the other spouse is providing child care at home or he/she is a single parent. Special circumstances may be considered by the Board as recommended by the superintendent.

3122 Compatibility with XCS

3122.1
Scriptures indicate that believers need to have and show a strong loyalty to the Body of Believers which is the Church. The school, as one arm of the Church, needs that same loyalty.

3122.2
All employees shall be in agreement with and uphold the purposes and objectives of Xenos Christian School as stated in the Contract of Employment, the Statement of Faith, and this document.

3122.3
Should a employee find that he/she is no longer in harmony with the stated purposes and objectives as outlined in section 3122.2, it is his/her Christian duty to notify the superintendent.

3123 Personal Character

All employees shall give evidence of a good moral character as described in the Bible.

3124 Physical Health

3124.1
All employees shall give evidence of adequate physical condition, including satisfactory results from a TB test.

3124.2
The Board may request a physical examination at its option. In such cases the expense for such examination will be paid by the Board. All Preschool employees must have a physical exam before beginning employment.
