3150 Employment Contracts

3151 Positions Requiring Contracts

3151.1
Salaried teachers must sign a year's contract setting the salary and terms of employment before beginning services at XCS.

3152 Validating a Contract

3152.1
All contracts must be approved by the XCS Board or its representative.

3152.2
All contracts shall be for a one year term unless specifically altered by the Board or its representative.

3152.4
The Board, its representative, or the superintendent retain the right to withdraw an offer anytime prior to its acceptance.

3153 Contract Renewal

3153.1
Teachers shall notify the Board in writing by March 15th whether they intend to return for the following year. This is necessary so that adequate plans may be made for staffing.

3153.2
Teachers shall be notified by April 15 if their services will not be required for the following school year. The reason for non-renewal shall be given.
