3441 Social Security Benefits

All employees will be covered by Social Security with deductions made from their gross income.
3442 Vacations
3442.1
The following days are paid holidays for all salaried teachers:
- Christmas Vacation
- President's Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Spring Vacation
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Vacation
3442.2
The following days are paid holidays for all full-time classified or administrative employees:
- Christmas Vacation—Dec. 24 (1/2 day) and 25.
- New Year's Eve—Dec. 31 (1/2 day) and Jan. 1
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- July 4 (for summer personnel only)
3442.3
All full-time classified employees will also receive two (2) weeks paid vacation after the first year of employment. After each year of additional employment, they will receive an additional day of vacation time.
3443 School Closing Days
3443.1
Salaried certified employees will be paid for any day that the school is closed because of severe weather or emergencies unless the total number of school days fall below 180. In that circumstance, employees will be expected to work without pay on the extra days that would be added to the school calendar.
3443.2
On days that the school closes for severe weather or other emergencies, the superintendent may request that full-time administrative and maintenance staff report to work on those days. If however, the superintendent deems it appropriate that these staff do not report to school, they will receive pay for those days.
