Assessment Reports
Every nine weeks, parents receive Student Academic Assessment Reports. These reports communicate the extent to which the pupil has completed grade level objectives in all subjects offered at Xenos Christian Schools. Teachers use homework and workbook pages, projects or reports, quizzes, curriculum chapter and unit tests, teacher-made tests, and teacher observation to determine a students grade.
The school notifies parents before assessments are sent home. Parents should look for the reports on the scheduled date. If a child does not bring home a report, the parent should call the office immediately the next day. If there are questions regarding their childs assessment, they should call the teacher for clarification or a conference. The school has a copy of all reports sent to parents, so parents need not return them to the school.
