Unit/Department:  Xenos Christian Schools Indirectly Reports To:  Office Supervisor

 

General Purpose ("Why does this position exist?"): The purpose of this position is to provide efficient, professional administration of the school office.  This position ensures the efficient operation of the office and provides support to the building principal

Percent of Time

Ensure the school remains in compliance with state regulations: including lunch program, daily attendance records, student grade card reports, student files, emergency dismissal procedures, and recording of fire drills.

Coordinate recruitment of new students. Process registrations and financial aid applications for all families.

Assist with tuition collection.  Help enforce tuition policies by following up with parents in writing and in person when their accounts are not balanced.

Deliver professional support to school staff, parents, volunteers and visitors to the school.  This position is a “front door” to the school.

Regularly complete reports and meet with building principal.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

This position requires a high school degree, with some post-high school administrative training required.  Four or more years of administrative and supervisory experience are required.

This position requires good communication skills and the ability to manage competing demands from different individuals.  The gifts of administration, helps and hospitality are a necessity.  The gift of leadership is desirable.

 

This position requires strong computer skills.  Familiarity with IBM compatible computers; Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access software packages.
