- To cultivate an appetite for the Christian life
Requirements
- Readings from selected chapters of Scot McCallum, The Christian
Life: An Owner's Manual (Grand Rapids: Kregel Publications, 1995).
- Weekly attendance. Your questions are welcome!
- Completion of the "Basic Christianity" worksheet (handout
on fourth week)
Bring a Bible to class--you'll want to read the main points for yourself.

- Who is God?
- Who is Jesus?
Assignment: Read The Christian Life, chapter 8.
- Holy Spirit: God's active presence in the world
- How do we grow spiritually?
Assignment: Read The Christian Life, chapter 11.
- Ancient writings, timeless truths: Understanding the Bible
Assignment: Read The Christian Life, chapter 9.
- What is the church really all about?
- If it's spiritual, its got to be good . . . right?
